Ridwan Ali

Ridwan joined Lightrock in 2026. Prior to Lightrock, Ridwan spent three years at KPMG Africa in Strategy & Deal Advisory, supporting transactions and financial advisory projects across East Africa. His experience includes financial modelling, M&A, feasibility studies, capital raising and transaction advisory, with a particular focus on infrastructure, energy, financial services and development-focused investments.

Ridwan holds a BSc in Financial Economics from Strathmore University and a Master’s in Finance from London Business School, including an exchange programme at Columbia Business School.
