Sunfire joined the Lightrock portfolio in 2022. It is an industrial electrolyser producer that provides renewable hydrogen and synthetic gas as climate-neutral substitutions for fossil fuels.
Sunfire is headquartered in Dresden, Germany. Its electrolysers harness pressurised alkaline and solid oxide (SOEC) technologies to supply carbon-intensive industries, aiming to develop the commercial feasibility of hydrogen use in other markets.
