Hanaan joined Lightrock in 2025.
Prior to Lightrock, she spent 15 years in investment roles at global equity funds including Actis and Blue Ridge Capital, and founded the utility investment platform Gridworks Development Partners. She then held senior management positions in energy utilities for five years. Earlier in her career, Hanaan worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in New York and London.
Hanaan holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford and a Master of Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
