Mario joined Lightrock in 2024. Prior to Lightrock, Mario was the third hire to establish the GEF Capital Partners (global PE manager focused on climate action with over $1bn in AUM globally) office in Brazil.
Mario holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Universidade de Sao Paulo – USP, with portion of his studies carried out at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He is an MBA Candidate at Columbia Business School.
