Prince Max von Liechtenstein is the Founder and Chairman of Lightrock's Board and Chairman of LGT Group.
He founded Lightrock as an expression of the Princely family’s entrepreneurial approach, long-term perspective, and commitment to sustainability. Prince Max is convinced that scalable commercial solutions to global challenges not only have a sustainable positive impact on society and the environment but also represent attractive investment opportunities. He has been the CEO of LGT since 2006. He started his professional career in the private equity industry where he worked from 1993 to 2005 for J.P. Morgan Partners and Industri Kapital, a leading private equity firm in the Nordics.
He holds an undergraduate degree from the European Business School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
