Sir Ian Davis is Chairman of Thoughtworks Holdings Inc and an NED at Majid al Futtaim as well as of two charitable organisations. He is Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Company where he had previously served as a Partner at McKinsey for 31 years, as well as its Global Managing Partner between 2003-2009. He is also a Senior Advisor to Apax Partners and to Mubadala.
Ian previously served as Chairman of Rolls Royce plc and a Non-Executive Board Member for the UK Government’s Cabinet Office. He held Non-Executive Director positions at BP, Johnson & Johnson, Teach for All, and the Big Society Trust.
Ian was knighted for services to business in the Queen’s 2019 Birthday Honours and graduated from Balliol College, the University of Oxford, having read Politics, Philosophy & Economics.
