Verena joined Lightrock in 2022. Prior to Lightrock, Verena worked in various roles at McKinsey & Company, including the Head of Risk and Development for the EEMA region and as McKinsey’s first Global Leader of Compliance. She also worked as an Attorney specialising in M&A and capital markets at Wolf Theiss and as a Judicial Clerk in Court.
Verena holds an LLM from the University of Chicago Law School, an MA and PhD from the University of Vienna Law School, and has been admitted to the New York and Austrian Bar.
