
Vivian is a global thought leader in the areas of healthcare and women’s leadership and has over three decades of experience and in-depth applied knowledge. She holds several Board positions, e.g. at Signify Health (SGFY-NYSE), K Health, John Hopkins Medicine, and is an advisory board member for the Smithsonian's American Women's History Museum, the National Education Equity Lab and the Lorna Breen Heroes Foundation.
In 2020, she joined the faculty at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, as the David C. Walentas Jefferson Scholars Foundation Professorship Chair where she focuses on senior executive leadership and healthcare, strategy and entrepreneurship across private, public and non-profit sectors. Vivian also held a variety of senior leadership positions at McKinsey including leader of the Public Sector Practice for the Americas, and co-leader of the US Health Care practice. She also served on McKinsey & Company's global Board of Directors and on the Senior Partner Committee evaluating and developing global senior partners.
Vivian earned a BA in History from Harvard-Radcliffe College and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
